About Advanced Technology Tackle
Back in early 2003 a Mr. Thomas "techno tom" Wright was mulling some electronics ideas over whilst discussing fishing tackle with his friend, Mr. Darren "the monk" Henwood over the counter at Specialist Tackle, when an idea they had both been skirting around cropped up. This encounter signalled the birth of the ATTx V1 system and business partnership that is nearly ten years standing, the blend seems to be perfect with Darren's 20+ years of retail experience and a longer time repairing bite alarms as well as a few other electronics items to boot.. Tom has a wealth of electronics and coding knowledge alongside his passion for angling.
Our Approach To Angling Technology
Our approach is one of trying to simplify the application of day to day used kit in a given angling situation. We all fish and not just for Carp, so whenver a situation that requires "tinkering" on the bank or cannot be overcome we will take this to the benches to try and make sure that for any other anglers it will not be a problem and whatever the item is, easy to use and reliable!. We pride ourselves on this and are constantly on the lookout for things to make angling that bit easier and therefore that bit more enjoyable on the day...
